Community Support

Samaritan’s Cupboard

The Samaritan’s Cupboard here at St Faith’s is a ministry that provides food and grocery items to people and families in need. We collect donations of long-life food and pantry items at the church, which are then distributed to those who need extra support with groceries.

Every Friday morning, we have volunteers waiting to assist you and give you a food hamper at the church hall from 10am until 12noon.

We always welcome donations. There are 3 ways you can donate. For more information see the image below.

If you are unable to attend on a Friday or need urgent assistance, please contact the office at 0493 400 447. If we miss your call, please be sure to leave a message and include your Name and Phone Number so that we get back to you with the help you need.

Domestic Violence Cupboard

Our Domestic Violence Cupboard is used to provide DARE and Police Domestic Violence teams with bags to assist those escaping from Domestic Violence. This is run purely by donations of goods from our generous community. Donations can be dropped off at the Church Office during office hours. Each month we collect a different item for our bags.

Christmas Bags of Blessings

Each year in conjunction with St Paul’s School we gather bags of blessings which contain grocery items as well as some special items for Christmas. Once gathered and sorted we then distribute to local school Chappies and Dare for those in need. This year we put together bags of blessings for 46 families. What a massive effort Ros & the team has done this year.
