Always Be Thankful

When bad news floods my inbox, it is good to be reminded to count my blessings and not the troubles! Coffee time with Jesus. It works! Listening this morning to Bill Johnson’s talk about “Praying from the Presence”, he reminds us of the teaching given in 1 Thessalonians 5:16‭-‬18 (NLT).

“Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.”

Rejoice, pray unceasingly and give thanks. These three re-route the thoughts from heart to mind rather than let the mind influence the heart.Today’s prayer: Lord, my heart is so grateful to receive Your love, grace and mercy. Amen.
